About The
Duck Fest Derby
The 19th Annual Duck Fest Derby, presented by JM Family Enterprises, is one of South Florida’s premier charity events. On Saturday, April 5, 2025, children of all ages will enjoy a free, family- friendly, Island-themed Duck festival filled with “quacky” activities in the Fun Zone, including the KID Olympics, face painting, petting zoo, live entertainment, delicious food trucks, and more.
Then, 40,000 rubber ducks will be dropped in the New River to race for prizes, all in support of KID & FCI. Community members can buy entries into the race by forming “Duck Teams” or adopting individual ducks for $5. Each adoption is a chance to win one of our fabulous prizes, including the grand prize of $10,000 cash.
About Kids in Distress (KID)
Since 1979, Kids In Distress (KID) has worked to prevent child abuse and support families. In 2019, KID acquired Family Central Inc. (FCI), uniting under KID Inc. to strengthen communities. Together, they serve over 20,000 children and families across South Florida each year.
